MDMA-Assisted Therapy

The EMMAC Study

MDMA-assisted therapy has shown promise in treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in veterans and people who have experienced trauma.

The EMMAC Study will help further understand the effect of MDMA-assisted therapy on depression and anxiety symptoms in patients with advanced-stage cancer.

Through supportive discussion, compassionate presence and mindful reflection, participants are encouraged to allow their Inner Healing Intelligence do the work (mahi) to bring about healing and equilibrium. IHI is also a te reo Maori word that signifies essential force, the bridge between the physical (taha tinana) and the spiritual (taha wairua).

MDMA can act as a catalyst to facilitate the mahi, making it easier to talk, feel, connect and process.
