Our Work
We currently provide access to holistic therapies for palliative care patients, their whanau and healthcare professionals through our clinical work and use of Mana as a clinical space.
We are supporting research and education related to holistic therapies for palliative care patients, their whānau and healthcare professionals through provision of resources such as clinical support and clinic space.
We have introduced a mindfulness programme to our local school to benefit the teachers and their students.
What We Do:
The Mana Foundation supports access to holistic therapies in Aotearoa, New Zealand and the South Pacific to all people including those with terminal illness, their carers, healthcare workers, teachers, lawyers and others.
The Mana Foundation funds research in holistic therapies including Psychedelic-assisted Care.
The Mana Foundation supports Iwi and Marae across Aotearoa to establish effective methods to treat addiction.
The Mana Foundation provides medical care and medicines to children in the South Pacific Islands.
The Mana Foundation supports schools across Aotearoa with the Body-Breath-Mind Awareness programme.
Mission and Objectives:
1. To promote holistic well-being and improve health outcomes by providing subsidized healthcare services and funding research and education related to holistic healthcare consistent with a charitable purpose.
1.1. To facilitate delivery of evidence-based therapies along with other complementary approaches to alleviate physical, psychological and spiritual suffering of individuals and their whanau in Aotearoa, New Zealand and communities in the South Pacific.
1.2. To promote holistic well-being and improve the health outcomes of individuals by offering subsidised health care services.
1.3 To fund comprehensive research and education concerning holistic approaches to health and wellbeing.
